Spearhead Pinot Noir Cuvee, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Elegant, precise, silky.
A blend of Dijon and Pommard clones and is matured in French oak.
Spierhead sits high above Kelowna on a cool climate site well-suited to Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir; as they've proven time and again. Here you have a melange of cherries and red currents, rainforest floor and dried violets, beet greens and bacon fat with tealeaf and star anise. It is juicy and fresh; precise and silky. Spice, red fruit and cedar flavours lead the palate. Elegant and deliberate. ©copyright 2017 Daenna Van Mulligen
